About the class
Jump into the world of clay. Learn to form, trim and glaze your own unique wheel-thrown pottery.
Spend three evenings creating your very own handmade pottery. In session one, we will play on the wheel and shape our initial pieces. In session two, we’ll trim and refine our work. In the final class, we will complete our creations with colorful glazes. Small class sizes and ample one-on-one guidance ensure everyone will take home beautiful, handcrafted pieces.
Students will learn:
How to prepare clay for throwing
Basics of wheel throwing
Finishing thrown pieces by trimming and glazing work
