RAL Science Olympiad presents: Elementary Science Day Camp for grades 3, 4 and 5.
October 9, Friday (non-school day) at R.A. Long High School STEM Lab.
Two sessions to select from: A) 8 to 11 a.m. or B) noon to 3 p.m.
Enjoy three hours of science fun at R.A. Long High School.
R.A. Long Science Olympiad team members, coaches and certificated science staff, and C.H.A.M.P. volunteers will lead students through a series of fun and engaging activities designed to improve science and teamwork skills and understanding, in the safe, friendly environment of R.A. Long High School. Students will work in teams of three to six, under the close supervision of certificated teachers at all times. Organizers say they guarantee each student will be challenged, engaged and inspired.
The camp will feature engineering, biology, chemistry, environmental science, physics and forensics.
Planned demonstrations include chemical reactions, electrical currents, flames of color, human bubbles and more.
Signs will be posted the day of the event with balloons. The RAL STEM lab is located near the district office.
Return the registration form to the R.A. Long High School ASB office with payment.
