This past week saw extreme heat in a number of parts of the country including the Northeast and Pacific Northwest.
The heat waves were the latest during a hot summer that helped fuel a conversation with North Carolina climatologist Kathie Dello, who joined the Lee Weather Team to discuss climate change connections to extreme heat, what can be done and why we should not give in to doomism.
