Corvallis posted a home sweep over Hamilton in dual action Saturday. The Blue Devil boys won 7-0, with No. 1 singles player Caleb Warnken continuing his winning ways with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Sam Toenjes. The Corvallis girls won a 4-3 thriller. The Blue Devils earned two singles wins and two doubles wins.
Polson registered a home sweep against Stevensville. On the boys' side, the Pirates won 4-3. They benefited from singles wins by Anton Lefthand, MaKauly Morrison and Matt Hobbs. On the girls' side, Polson beat Stevensville 5-2. Shea McGuinness made a rare doubles appearance for the Pirates, teaming with Berkley Ellis for a straight-set win at the No. 1 spot.
Florence pitchers Kasidy Yeoman and Kylie Kovatch combined to toss a no-hitter in a 6-3 win over host Plains in the first game of a doubleheader. Yeoman started the game and struck out 10 in 3 2/3 innings of duty. Kolbi Wood smacked a home run for the Falcons. In the second game, Emily Kinnaman was a one-girl wrecking crew at the play as Florence stopped Plains in six innings, 16-6. Kinnaman was 4 for 4 with a double, two triples and four RBIs
It wasn't pretty, but Hamilton posted a 13-6 win at Butte Central. The Broncs committed nine errors and the Maroons six. Jorden Taggart struck out seven in earning the pitching win and she led Hamilton at the plate with two doubles, a single and two RBIs. Teammate Mikayln Brickley hit a home run and triple and tallied four RBIs.
