The five Pachyderm clubs in Montana seem unaware that charity begins at home. They continue to collect dues which are sent to state and national offices and receive nothing in return. Nothing. Meanwhile, hollow belly, inadequate shelter and clothing issues are evident within the these Pachyderm Club communities.

Each of these political groups, with donations to and support of local charities would receive greater benefits to their image than by sending funds to Great  Falls and Houston.

The use of the name, Pachyderm, in any Republican organization, is degrading, as that name is also equated with the other lumbering, thick skinned, hoofed or hard nailed species to include Hippopotamus and Rhinoceroses. Not a beautiful or beneficial political image. Yet the Democrats continue their love affair with the unattractive Jackass symbol.

The name change to, Ravalli Republican Club, would be sufficient and eliminate any confusion with names of other Republican groups in the Bitterroot, such as Republican Central Committee and Republican Women.
