There were two anti-trapping letters to the editor in the Feb. 10, Ravalli Republic. I agree with these caring folks and would like to add my opinion on wildlife trapping.
Needless to say, I am against the cruelty of trapping wild animals in our present day and age. Who buys fur anymore? Why do individuals persist in this barbaric activity? Don't you know that anyone can buy garments made with faux fur these days?
Some years ago, the models in NYC boycotted wearing fur on the runway. They objected for the same reasons I do. Not needed, not necessary and downright cruel to animals.
