WW White Memorial Fishing Access

WW White Memorial Fishing Access

I want to extend a thank you to all those involved in the completion of the WW White fishing access on the West Fork of the Bitterroot river.

This never would have happened without several entities coming together to achieve this goal. The land owner, Bitter Root Land Trust, Ravalli County Fish and Wildlife Association, Dale Burk, county commissioners, and Montana FWP all deserve our appreciation.

As a local fly fishing outfitter and avid fly fisher I see first hand the benefit this project brings to habitat, access, our community, economy, and hunting and fishing heritage. Marty Stomberg deserves most of the credit for her generosity and patience in realizing her son’s vision. I hope Ben is looking down and smiling on your achievement. Thank you!

— Eddie Olwell, Stevensville
