There weeks ago I was forced into a task that no one should ever have to do.
I returned to Indiana to bury my oldest daughter. Complications from an emergency surgery procedure caused a blood clot and it ended her life. Unless someone has done this, they have no idea of the pain.
I am writing this to say thank you to a group of wonderful people in Darby who were there for me without hesitation. Some of them I didn't know personally, yet they came forward to show their sympathy and well wishes. I will never forget them and the words escape me to express my thanks.
They have shown me love and compassion can come from the least expected places and times. What wonderful people. There is another group of people who I would have thought would be there for me, well, you know who you are. Thank you for nothing. I will always remember.
