A 28-year old Cody man died in a crash Monday near Greybull, according to the Wyoming Highway Patrol.
The man was identified as Simon Augedahl, according to a press release issued by WHP Wednesday.
Augedahl rear-ended a semi truck at mile marker 16 on U.S. Highway 14. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the release.
The semi was hauling a trailer and had pulled into a closed business to make a U-turn, WHP stated, but could not pull all the way through due to snow in the parking lot. It then backed out and had begun to pull away when Augedahl's westbound GMC pickup crashed into the truck.
Augedahl was pronounced dead at the scene, according to WHP.
It's the second highway fatality this year in Wyoming.
