State Representative Theresa Manzella recently tried to set up a meeting with Ravalli county commissioners, and out-of-stater Karen Budd-Fallen, who wants to propose a Land Use Plan that would basically take public land, including the Sapphire Wilderness, out of the hands of the public and privatize it. That's exactly what the current Trump administration has been trying to do.
Theresa Manzella, who is a proponent of Sen. Steve Daines and Rep. Greg Gianforte, claims she has plenty of money to fly Budd-Fallen in and cover expenses. She could not remember who gave her this money, but called them "citizens."
Because the commissioners declined in a flood of public comment apposing this proposition, Ms. Manzella said she would then have a private meeting with only two commissioners invited, on private land. This does not pass the smell test, this is exactly what it looks like - part of a nationwide land grab by Dark Money, to privatize your public lands.
And the really crazy part is that these people are also using taxpayer money to campaign for themselves and their agenda.

These public lands were protected in 1964 by the Wilderness Act, and was meant to be there for all of us, "forever." These pirates of our lands go right to the top with their plan to privatize all of our public lands for the billionaires and zillionaires,
This is outside money taking over , and it is time we STOP IT.
