July 12, only eight days after the Fourth of July, I watched a house committee examine Peter Strzok regarding two e-mails he was involved in that were anti Donald Trump. They were his personal political beliefs about Donald’s run for the presidency. Donald had a right to run and Peter had the political right of free speech to personally oppose Donald’s run for the presidency.
The 10-hour meeting revolved around two very short e-mails that Peter and a female friend exchanged regarding the election of Donald. When the meeting was finally over It was the most disgusting example of uncouth questioning that I have ever observed.
As an American citizen who has voted in numerous elections I was appalled at their total lack of ability to examine a United States citizen in a civilized manner. This is a country where everyone has a right to be political biased. George Washington was the only president that was held in an unbiased position because of his great efforts to remove us from the rule of England. Every president since George has been biased.
I watched the entire meeting that was on television and I did not see one person who was intellectually capable of conducting a civilized examination of the witness. The meeting was the largest farce of politics that I have ever observed. I could not believe that we elected that many idiots to represent our governmental interests. I kept thinking we are paying these people to conduct this meeting that should have obtained the answers to their questions in the matter of 15 minutes. It was impossible to believed that we elected these persons to conduct this meeting and that we were paying them for a 10-hour meeting that should have taken no more than 15 minutes to get the answers they were looking for.
Our ability to govern our country is rapidly slipping out of the hands of the voting population and falling into the hands of the wealthy. Watching our elected representatives yesterday I could not believe their inability to conduct a meeting in a civilized manner. How in the hell did they get elected? Money.
