Ben grew up on a ranch working with his Dad in the Avocado groves. He learned how his Dad came from Spain to the USA, met his Mom who was from France, translating English/Basque languages. He attended school in Brea and excelled in sports and school. In high school he played Basketball, Baseball, Football and Track, lettering in all. He loved hunting deer, birds, elk in CA, CO, MT, and deep sea/fresh water fishing. He moved to Montana in the early 70s. He worked construction, owned a roofing business. Later on he developed a log home system and worked with friends in Brazil to use their plantation trees as a renewable housing resource. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sunny, sister Lorenza, brothers Joe and Martin, and parents Lucas and Veronique. He is survived by his sister's Elena (Chris), Tina (Tom), brother Luke (Maura), daughter's Grace, Sue, Kay, and Jenny, granddaughter Tracy, 2 great grand-children and 1 great, great grandson. He had 31 nieces and nephews all of whom he loved dearly. We will miss our "Gentle Giant" but he will live on in our hearts and memories.
