STEVENSVILLE — JL passed away after a very short illness thought to be Acute Myloid Leukemia. He died before the real diagnosis could be made.

He was a Korean War veteran and served under Curtis Lamay in the Air Force. He was so proud of his service to his country. He was a great mechanic. He could fix anything that had a motor.

He was loved so much and will be greatly missed by his partner in life, Betty Landwehr, her children Heidi Cole and Brett Landwehr and the many friends he made in the Valley. He loved to hunt and fish and hit the casinos. He believed in God with all his heart.

At his request, there will be no service. He was cremated at Garden City Funeral Home and his ashes will be scattered at his favorite places. RIP, JL. We had a wonderful life together. I love you.
