HAMILTON — L. Margie Lindquist, 90, of Hamilton, passed away Sunday, Sept. 27, 2020, at Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital in Hamilton.
Margie was born April 4, 1930, in Pocatello, Idaho, to the late William and Elba Siler. She attended Coeur d’ Alene High School prior to moving to Hamilton at age 18. Margie married Marion Lindquist on Dec. 23, 1950.
As a child and 4-H leader, she was showing her sheep when met President Truman. She loved to crochet and won many awards at the local fair. Her family said she made the best pies and cakes.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Marion; son, Clyde Lindquist; grandson, Jason Bartholomaus.
She is survived by her daughters, Deanna (Bruce) Bartholomaus of Spokane, Washington, and Iola Lindquist of Hamilton; granddaughters, Megan, Angela and Kayla Bartholomaus; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Maddison, Evie, Grayson, Hunter and Austin; sister, Joan Cousins of California.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, at the Daly-Leach Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, 2020, at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Hamilton. Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
