HAMILTON — George John Karpati, 71, of Hamilton, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018, at The Living Center in Stevensville.
George was born April 7, 1946, in Nagykanicza, Hungary, to the late George and Rosalie Megyesz Karpati. He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years, stationed in Bermuda, and graduated from San Diego State University.
George married L. Marie Karpati on July 3, 1976. He was a member of the NRA, American Legion and treasurer of the local and state Constitutional Party.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an aunt. George is survived by his wife and only surviving relative, L. Marie Karpati.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., April 6, 2018, at the Western Montana State Veterans Cemetery in Missoula, with honors presented by the U.S. Air Force and the American Legion. Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com
