Joe passed peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Monday, June 15, 2020. He is survived by his sisters Pamela Rough and Debra Mann, and his brother David Mann. Joe leaves behind his 16 nieces and nephews, and countless friends who were like family to him. He will be missed by many.
A celebration of Joe’s life will be held in Corvallis, on June 27, by the Corvallis ducksters, of which Joe was a proud wrangler. A funeral service in memory of Joseph will be held in Kalispell, where he will be laid to rest with his brother Tim, and his mother Mickey (Standley) Mann at a later date.
Joe loved all things Montana, hunting, fishing, prospecting, mushrooming, and wood carving. Joe has gone fishin’ with God, and no more will pain or sorrow find him.
“Oh, these vast, calm, measureless mountain days, days in whose light everything seems equally divine, opening a thousand windows to show us... something greater than us.” — John Muir
