Burlap Chic Boutique & Gifts and Westslope Distillery have combined efforts to benefit SAFE in the Bitterroot with raffle tickets available until Dec. 16.
On Monday, Burlap Chic Boutique hosted a day of pampering, shopping, cocktails and fashion, including tips from personal stylist and Westslope Distillery mixologist Chris Lopez.
Burlap Chic Boutique owner Kendra Hale said the season is ripe to give.
“We are headed into the ever-fast season of all things good, sparkly and giving,” she said. “It’s the giving season and Burlap loves to give. It’s all about community and celebrating women.”

Westslope Distillery had a cocktail designed especially for this event called S.A.F.E., for Spiced Apple Fashion Elixir, plus Burlap showed some new arrivals, unique gifts and donated a percentage of the day’s sales to SAFE.
SAFE in the Bitterroot provides emergency shelter and services in Ravalli County for survivors of domestic and intimate partner abuse.
“SAFE provides a variety of housing programs, advocacy services, a crisis hotline and community programs all geared toward creating a future free of violence,” Hale said. “SAFE’s services include helping survivors find the help they need to build a safe future and are critically needed.”
Westlope and Burlap have gathered over $1,000 in donations from local and fellow retail stores, shops, salons and individuals that wanted to contribute to raising money for SAFE.
“We’ve made these awesome donations into two fabulous gift baskets,” Hale said. “We will be selling raffle tickets through Dec. 16. Ticket sales are 100% donated to SAFE In the Bitterroot and the winner will be announced on Friday, Dec. 16.”
Raffle tickets cost $15 per ticket and $75 for six tickets.
The Westslope basket is called “Rustic Sweet Spirit” and was decorated by Bunny Robbins, owner of “Robins on Main.” It includes, a bottle of Sweet Sting Honey Spirit, a bottle of Aged Rum, two insulated Westslope tumblers, two My Drink Bombs cocktail mixers, two Host Beer Freeze glasses, a six-pack of Bitterroot Brewery Seasonal Brew, a Westslope House Bitters jar of Collins mix, a Shivelight Bitterroot Apple and Cinnamon Shrub, two Pilsner shot glasses, a Silver Westslope Flask all in a Robbins on Main rustic pine wall mounted wine rack. For a total value of $558.
The “Burlap Break” self-care raffle basket is a culmination of products.
“Burlap took our generous donations collected from local salons to help relax, restore and replenish your mind, body and spirit,” Hale said.
The basket includes an unlimited month of tanning at Auroras Salon, a full set of acrylic nails by Cleo Magoo, a full set of Lash Extensions by Marika, spa slippers, and much more. The Burlap Break raffle basket is valued at $548.
