Highlights from a Business and Organization Survey conducted by the Stevensville Main Street Association (SMSA) will be presented at a meeting this Wednesday, March 7, from noon to 1 p.m. at the SMSA office, 102-B Main Street in Stevensville. All are welcome.
The survey asked respondents about the local business environment, infrastructure, business/organization assistance and resources, workforce issues, sales/visitation trends, marketing methods, networking and educational opportunities, impact of local events, business recruitment targets and evaluation of SMSA’s programs and services.
More than 60 businesses and organizations responded to the survey.
According to SMSA Executive Director Lorraine Roach, “Our Association exists to serve the businesses and organizations in the Stevensville area. We are evaluating all of our programs and priorities, and everything is on the table. The input provided by the Stevensville businesses and organizations will guide our programming, target marketing and strategic planning for the next three to five years.”
Survey results also will be available from the SMSA office, and summarized in an upcoming newsletter that will be distributed to Stevensville businesses and organizations.
Also highlighted at Wednesday’s meeting will be a new walking map of Stevensville produced by Katelyn Andersen of MSU Extension. Andersen will discuss the purpose of the map and an upcoming event related to it. Chris Fox from Bike/Walk Bitterroot also will give a brief presentation on his organization’s activities.
Participants are welcome to bring a brown bag lunch on Wednesday. Beverages will be available on-site. For more information, contact Lorraine Roach at the SMSA office, 406-777-3773 or email@example.com.
