Call Haldorson

It is official: 15-year-old Calla Haldorson of Hamilton will compete at the NFL Punt, Pass and Kick national competition on Jan. 3.

Haldorson’s dad, Mark Haldorson, received an email from Kathleen Patterson, the USA Football NFL Punt, Pass and Kick coordinator.

“Congratulations,” Patterson noted. “You have qualified for the 2015-2016 NFL Punt, Pass & Kick national championships.”

Calla Haldorson will compete during the game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Tennessee Titans on Jan. 3 in Indianapolis. The game will be broadcast by CBS starting at 11 a.m.

“I think I knew in my heart she would compete at nationals because she did so well,” Mark Haldorson said. “It is just really nice to get the confirmation.”
