This year's annual tree lighting in Hamilton is Friday, Nov. 29 from 5 to 6 p.m. 

Towns in the Bitterroot Valley are featuring a variety of events this holiday season. Here are just a few:

Hamilton Christmas Stroll and Tree Lighting is 5 – 6 p.m. tonight, Friday, Nov. 29.

Hamilton and Stevensville are participating in Small Business Saturday activities, on Saturday, Nov. 30.

The Ravalli County Museum is offering the free Saturday Adventure Series of making Origami Stars, 10 a.m. to noon, on Nov. 30.

“A folding challenge for small and medium size hands (and maybe large hands too), which will bring everyone delight as their origami stars take shape,” the RCM website says. “Choose from a rainbow of colors and make your own origami star for a winter decoration.”

Corvallis Community Christmas Celebration and Tree Lighting with the CHS choir and jazz band will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4, at Corvallis High School.

The Bitter Root Humane Association’s "Cookie Walk, Bake Sale & More" 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, at St. Francis Pastoral Community Center, 411 S. 5th Street in Hamilton.

The Ravalli County Museum is hosting “An Acoustic Christmas” a lively musical benefit, their gallery of trees silent auction and gift shop sale at 6 p.m. on Dec. 6.

Stevensville is hosting their Country Christmas (First Friday) Event on Dec. 6 and 7, with caroling, a parade of lights, wagon rides and Santa.

Darby is hosting Christmas at the Darby Clubhouse 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Dec. 7.

Living Nativities will be at the Ravalli County Fairgrounds, Dec. 6 and 7.

The Nutcracker Ballet will be at the Hamilton Performing Arts Center, 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, and 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7.

The Oliver Blood House, 524 S. 1st St, in Hamilton is hosting a Bee Hive Pop-up of local artists, makers and their fine handcrafted wares, noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7.

The Giveaway will take place 9 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Dec. 14, at the Ravalli County Fairgrounds.

Bitterroot Baroque’s first ever Christmas concert with three West Coast stars at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 600 So 3rd Street in Hamilton.

The Bitterroot Chorus will present their holiday concerts 7:30 p.m. Dec. 14 and 2 p.m. Dec. 15 in the Hamilton Performing Arts Center.

Faith Lutheran Church, 171 Lewis Lane in Hamilton, will have a special Blue Christmas service at 6 p.m. on Dec. 15.

The Montana A Cappella Society will give a free concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 22, in the St. Francis Church, 411 S. 5th Street in Hamilton.
