Time is running out to apply for the 2019 Farmers State Bank Scholarship; the deadline is Friday, March 15, 2019.
Students can apply online at www.farmersebank.com under ‘Scholarship’. Preference for the Farmers State Bank scholarships is given to students with a 2.5 to 3.5 grade point average, and family income below $50,000. Eligibility and program details are available online.
Each year Farmers State Bank offers a $10,000 scholarship to a qualifying senior from a participating school in Darby, Hamilton, Stevensville, Victor, Florence, Corvallis, Missoula, Helena and Kalispell. New this year, qualifying homeschooled seniors are also eligible to apply.
Farmers State Bank scholarships have benefited 142 students, with a total award distribution of $1,138,750 since 2001. The awards are for $2,500 each year and renewable for up to three years, based on full-time attendance at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school, and a GPA of 2.0 or higher, for the maximum award of $10,000.
