The Corvallis High School Music Department will present a “Night On Broadway,” a dinner buffet and show on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 10 and 11.
The CHS Jazz Band, Men’s Choir, Women’s Choir and Musical Theatre class will perform Broadway show tunes sure to interest kids and adults of all ages including tunes from “Hello Dolly,” “The Music Man,” “Fiddler on the Roof” and “Phantom of the Opera.”
Nancy Brown, director, said the evening will be affordable and family friendly.
“If you’ve never been to a musical, it will give you an idea of the creativity and production of Broadway shows,” Brown said. “If the mood strikes you, feel free to donate any dollar amount you want and get a ticket for door prizes that will be offered later in the evening.”
Senior Austin Mowat said, “’Night On Broadway’ is a show that anyone can enjoy.”
“It is an energetic and fast-paced production that will bedazzle the audience,” he said.
The dinner begins at 6:30 p.m.
Pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw, potato chips, a cookie and ice tea will be served buffet style and be accompanied by a preview of tunes provided by the CHS Jazz Band.

The show starts at 7:00.
Admission is $5 for the dinner and performance. There will also be a chances for door prizes.
Junior Zoe Brouwer said the evening of performance will be fun.
“There are an awesome variety of tunes encompassing popular Broadway shows,” Brouwer said. “It’s been different from our madrigals but think it will be a lot of fun for the audience.”
The “Night On Broadway” production does replace the annual madrigal dinners.
“We hope it will be just what you are looking for,” Brown said. “You don’t need to travel to New York City to see a Broadway performance, just attend “Night On Broadway.”
