Three PGA Professionals from Montana have been honored by the Pacific Northwest Section PGA.
Roger Wallace, PGA Director of Golf at Polson Bay Golf Course, has been honored as the 53rd member of the Pacific Northwest Section PGA Hall of Fame. Chris Nowlen, PGA General Manager at Missoula Country Club, is the Pacific Northwest Section PGA Golf Professional of the Year for overall excellence, and Cameron Milton, the PGA Head Professional at Polson Bay Golf Course, received the Pacific Northwest Section Youth Player Development Award for his work with junior golfers.
Wallace has been the driving force at Polson Bay Golf Course for the past 30 years. First as PGA Head Professional and for the last 10 years as the PGA Director of Golf. Prior to his move to Polson Bay, Wallace served at Buffalo Hill GC and Meadow Lake GC.
Milton is a champion for junior golf. His efforts bring seven different programs to local kids. Polson Bay offers a free junior camp to over 120 kids in grades 1-8 culminating in a closing competition and banquet involving the families. Milton brings golf to the Boys and Girls Club of the Flathead Reservation to involve their participants in the free junior camp.
In his role as general manager of Missoula Country Club, Nowlen is instrumental in all phases of the operation. Following a recent improvement project all aspects of the club have responded positively.
