KALISPELL – Colin Bahin of Missoula Big Sky and Sofia Panarella of Missoula Hellgate took top singles honors Saturday in the Kalispell Invitational tennis tournament at Flathead Valley Community College.

Bahin remained unbeaten this season and secured top honors in the No. 1 singles bracket Saturday with a hard-fought win over Kalispell Glacier's Hunter Blalack in the title match, 6-2, 1-6, 6-3. Panarella had smooth sailing in the No. 1 girls' singles bracket, sweeping Kalispell Flathead's Jenna Jensen in the final, 6-0, 6-0.

The surprise of the day came in the No. 1 girls' doubles championship match. Missoula Sentinel's Kelsey Thomas and Sarah Ramsbacher, who have been playing No. 2 for the Spartans in dual meets, beat Sentinel's previously-unbeaten No. 1 team of Katie Veteto and Morgan Harrington, 6-4, 6-4.

In the boys' No. 1 doubles title match, Hellgate's Isak Nord and Grant Porter defeated Kalispell Glacier's Holland Blalack and Sam Stern, 6-3, 7-5.
