SUPERIOR -- The Loyola Sacred Heart girls' tennis team ran away with top honors on Saturday in the Southwestern B-C Divisional meet.
The Breakers piled up 52 points, which was more than twice as many as second-place Darby with its 24 points. Loyola's Casey Cummins took top honors in the singles bracket and freshman teammates Mattie Burke and Jacy Job won the doubles competition.
In four matches Cummins did not drop a set. Her closest match came in the finals where she stopped Breanna Brickey of Darby, 6-0, 7-5.
Burke and Job won three matches en route to their title. Their closest match came in the semifinal round where they outlasted teammates Whitney Bowditch and Sami Worster, 7-5, 4-6, 6-4.
The team win was Loyola's second in a row in divisional play. The Class B-C state meet will be held Thursday through Saturday in Great Falls.
