CORVALLIS -- Hamilton's 15-6 Southwestern A win Thursday against Corvallis showed off some early season rust for both teams.

The Blue Devils committed nine errors in the loss, helping Hamilton take a 9-2 lead by the end of the third inning. Caitlin Dillon recorded two RBIs and a triple in a 2-for-2 effort, adding to Hamilton's 10 total hits.

The Broncs didn't make it easy for themselves in the nine-run win, though. Hamilton walked 13 Corvallis hitters, and hit two more in a topsy-turvy early spring game.

Kambry Powell had a two-RBI base knock for the Devils. Hamilton's Kelsie Meis added two more hits, including a double, to go along with two RBIs in the win.
