The Hamilton High School boys basketball team defeated Whitefish Jan. 6 by a final score of 71-34.
Hamilton raced out to a 20-10 advantage at the end of the first quarter. The Broncs poured in 17 more points in the second quarter for a 37–14 lead at halftime.
The second half was more of the same, as Hamilton scored 34 more points while holding Whitefish to only 20. Carter Kearns and Tanner Goligoski led the way for the Broncs, scoring 20 and 17 points respectively. Whitefish was paced by Ryan Kemm and Dillon Botner with each scoring 8 points.
Next up for the Broncs is a Jan. 11 game against the Stevensville Yellowjackets.
