HAMILTON – Bob was born Dec. 15, 1924 in Kemmerer, Wyoming. He passed away Oct. 2, 2017 in Hamilton. He grew up on the family ranch in Southwest Wyoming.
Bob was a combat infantry veteran of World War II, serving as an Automatic (BAR) rifleman in Patton’s Third Army in Europe. He was awarded the Bronze Star.
After his discharge in 1946 he returned to the ranch until 1953, when he moved to Las Vegas, NV. In 1955, he married Dolores Parent, a Wyoming girl. They lived in Vegas until 1971 then moved to Colorado where bob worked for the U.S. Forest Service. He retired in 1982 and moved to the Bitterroot Valley.
He is survived by Dolores his cherished wife of almost 62 years and a daughter, Joy Lynn Bennett and her family of Price, Utah.
As per Bob’s wishes cremation has take place without services. Arrangements are under the care of the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton.
