STEVENSVILLE — Henry “Hank” K. Timm, of Stevensville, died peacefully in his sleep early Monday morning, Dec. 11, 2017, in his home. He was 90.
Henry was born in Englewood, New Jersey, in 1927, received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy in 1946 and married Edith Roewe in 1951. In 1975, Henry and his family moved to Montana where they later built a home and orchard in the Bitterroot Valley. Henry was an active member of Three Mile Volunteer Fire Department for over 15 years and an enthusiastic member of Garden City Stamp Club.
Henry is preceded in death by his wife, Edith. He is survived by his son, Hank, and wife, Mary of Tok, Alaska; his daughter, Jan Wehrli and husband, Frank of Stevensville; his son, Roger of Stevensville; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous friends.
He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father and “Pop” to his family and friends. Henry will be buried at Sunnyside Cemetery. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at whitesittfuneralhome.com.
