Bitterroot CASA is seeking new volunteers to serve as court appointed special advocates for 2018.
Child victims of abuse and neglect need to have a supportive community willing to help, whether it be as a CASA volunteer doing actual casework, volunteering to help with fundraising events or by supporting our local CASA program financially, which allows us to continue to serve our local foster youth. Bitterroot CASA is currently seeking new volunteers to be trained and assigned a case currently in the Ravalli County dependency system.
The goal of Bitterroot CASA is to prevent abused, neglected and abandoned children from becoming lost in the court system.
In 2017, Bitterroot CASA advocated for 66 children in Ravalli County, accounting for more than 900 hours. Last year, Bitterroot CASA had 14 volunteers. This year, they are seeking to train 10 new volunteers.
