Farmers State Bank is offering $10,000 scholarships to qualifying seniors from participating schools in Darby, Hamilton, Stevensville, Victor, Florence, Corvallis and Missoula.
The 2018 Farmers State Bank Scholarship Applications are available now. For the first time, applications are available online at www.farmersebank.com under ‘Scholarship’.
Preference for the Farmers State Bank scholarships is given to students with a 2.5 to 3.5 grade point average, and family income below $50,000. Eligibility and program details are available online.
Since launching the program, Farmers State Bank scholarships have benefited 133 students, with a total award distribution of nearly $1 million. The awards are for $2,500 each year and renewable for up to three years, based on full-time attendance at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school, and a GPA of 2.0 or higher, for the maximum award of $10,000.
New this year is a $10,000 scholarship that will be awarded in Helena, where a new branch has opened.
Applications and information regarding the scholarship is available at www.farmersebank.com. The deadline is March 15, 2018, and recipients will be notified on or before May 1, 2018.
