A Darby man was arrested early Friday morning and charged with rape of a teenager.
Quint A. Billings, 39, was arraigned in Justice Court Friday on charges of sexual intercourse without consent and sexual assault. According to court records, Billings had "offered to help out" a friend and had stayed the night at the home.
During the course of the evening, Billings is alleged to have raped the youth who lived there while he was sleeping.
After the alleged attack, the teenager told his father who physically threw Billings out of his home and called law enforcement officers.
Billings was arrested two hours later in his home without incident, according to the affidavit.
In court Ravalli County Attorney George Corn requested and received a $100,000 bail on Billings.
Mark McLaverty was appointed as the Billings' public defender.
The next court appearance was scheduled for three weeks in District Court, and Billings remains incarcerated in the Ravalli County Detention Center.
