The U10 Lady Osprey softball team must think pool play is overrated.

The Lady Osprey were seeded sixth after pool play concluded Saturday, then won three straight games Sunday to take the championship in the Garden City Walk Off Softball Tournament at Playfair Park.

The Lady Osprey beat the Big Sky Blitz 14-3 and the Blue Thunder 10-6, before downing the Fury 9-2 in the championship game.

A pair of Spokane teams dominated the U12 bracket. The Crash and the Stealth were tied in the title game when a hail storm hit Sunday evening. The Stealth won a coin flip for the crown. The Crash downed the Electric City Heat 7-1 and the Stealth tripped the Lady Regulators 4-2 in the semifinals.

It was an all-Great Falls matchup in the U14 title game. The Electric City Heat edged the Black Smoke 7-6 in one semifinal and the Great Falls Selects blanked Belgrade White 8-0 in the other. The Selects then routed the Heat 15-0 for the title.

Calgary Kaizen won the combined U16/18 bracket by beating the SilverStorm 6-0 in the championship game. The SilverStorm eliminated the host Lady Osprey 3-0 in one semifinal while Calgary downed the Fury 6-0 in the other.
